Tool assumptions and formulas

Tool assumption, not a regulation or standard clause. Regulation clause numbers are left blank. Imbalance = (Imax−Imin)÷Iavg×100%, in % (warn above 10%). Three-phase current per phase = kW×1000÷(√3×V×PF), in A (kW is that feed's power). When one source fails, that rack's power is shared across the remaining live paths; the failure peak is in kW and the matching current is in A. 6 A is the per-phase current of a 4 kW feed (rounded to an integer), not the current of an 8 kW rack, and not L1+L2+L3; a three-phase total of about 211 A is not line current. "A peak 96 kW" means A rises to 96 when B fails, not that A itself failed. For the same kW, single-phase current is 3 times the three-phase formula, because single-phase uses 415÷√3. Rated power P(A) = A×√3×V×PF÷1000, a tool assumption; frequency is not used, and there is no safety factor.

IT Rack Source Combination Counts
Source combinations are allocated through load-aware passes and local improvements to reduce the peak load across single-source failure cases. Source ratings are not provided, so this section compares estimated kW and A.
▥
Busway Peak Load Estimate
Each hall has its own in-row and perimeter peaks, including normal operation and every SPOF case. PTU power is the sum of each hall's perimeter for that source. Active-hall Auto does not check PTU ratings. PTU Auto searches every Data Hall for the fewest in-row busways. Each hall keeps its own in-row rating and perimeter rating.
▥
Data Hall Setting-out
The active tab is the Data Hall being edited. Click a hall name to open, rename, copy, or delete it. The lock icon sets kW, phase, feed topology, and sources for every rack in that hall; rack names stay editable. Row, rack, aisle, topology, and power-limit settings are saved per hall. Source colors, line voltage, PF, country, city, and frequency are shared, not set per Data Hall. Perimeter busways are this hall's sources.

Tool assumption (not a regulation clause). Calculation model: 415 V is three-phase line-to-line voltage. For a three-phase rack, phase current = feed power × 1,000 ÷ (√3 × line voltage × PF), shared across L1/L2/L3. For a single-phase rack, current = feed power × 1,000 ÷ ((line voltage ÷ √3) × PF), assigned to its striped phase. Three-phase imbalance = (maximum phase current − minimum phase current) ÷ average phase current × 100%.
